IMO - Dr Ben has it right.... and time to change that. Much like the Chicago "projects" were a failure because it was a caretaker plan rather than a temporary solution with a planned exit... and much like what I saw when I was working the Family Crisis Team as a volunteer - all these feel good solutions are not solutions. The mindset becomes the norm. Do you think it is normal to have to call the cops to settle a family dispute 3 or 4 times a week? There are people that do (And that is the only example I am going to give from the personal experience) - bottom line, time to look at real solutions - and a new mindset. , , |
