These Are What Abandoned Olympic Stadiums Look Like | INTELLIGENT WORLD TODAY | Scoop.it
In just a couple of years, Olympic venues turn from bustling hubs of activity to decrepit wastelands.
Al Cannistra's insight:

So much concern for planet earth and our resources in this century…  is it time for the people who decide and approve the when and where of the Olympics make it mandatory that all venues must have sustainable use? Lots of money is made from the Olympics – if the builders can afford to walk away, perhaps a certain percentage can be reserved for perpetuity….  At least worth a discussion?

Al Cannistra's insight:

it was my privilege to visit the Soviet Union many years ago - and with restrictions visit for a week with some of their citizens both older and college age - an unforgettable experience. Dennis conveys what life was like there and he is SO accurate. Our people do not understand what the life is like - and sadly refuse to heed the warnings. We are headed in a very bad direction - it needs to be stopped - now,
